Last Look Express for Outlook 2007 - $0 (Free)

Last Look Express is offered as a free Microsoft Outlook 2007 add-in that allows you to give your Outlook messages a final look before they are sent out. That final look examines the message for various words, attachments, and size. If certain combinations are found in the message, you are alerted, giving you a chance to change the message (or even add attachments) if necessary.

This can help you avoid those nasty moments, when you have to send a follow-up email that actually includes the attachment you promised in the last one (bosses tend to dislike such things). Or, you repeatedly get bounced emails to potential clients because the attachments are too large for their email accounts. So, you keep having to explain why they didn't get the message.

Don't look dimmer than the average bulb. Give your Outlook email a Last Look.

Other than installing the add-in, there's nothing more you need to do. The message is automatically checked when the message is sent, and you are alerted when the message has:

  • Words that indicate you are sending an attachment, but there are no attachments to the message
  • Words that indicate you are sending a URL or email address, but none are found in the message
  • Exceeded a size limit

If you like what the Express version has to offer, or if you need more options, take a look at Last Look Standard.
